DAY 14: 3 HEALTHY HABITS
For those of you following my 30 day challenge, you’ll notice that I jumped ship and strayed away from the prompt yesterday…well I’m back on the wagon! Below I will share 3 of my healthy habits that I try and maintain with you all!
Be active – I recognize that not everyone loves going to the gym, if I’m being honest it’s not my favorite place either. With that being said, I always feel better after doing something active (i.e., gym, yoga, barre, playing catch…etc). Find something that you don’t hate and see if over time it helps you to feel happier and healthier!
Journaling – I know that journaling doesn’t appeal to everyone but it has been super beneficial for me. It allows me to put my thoughts and feelings down on paper and get out of my own head. It helps me to work through any big decisions I might have to make as well as helping control my anxiety when it decides to rear it’s ugly head!
Have fun! – This one is pretty straightforward! I find that having fun and creating memories is incredibly beneficial to my mental health! Concerts are my thing…I love going to as many as I can fit in a year. I especially love them in the summer; there is something about being outside with the summer breeze messing up my hair that just does it for me! Find something that you enjoy and create as many memories as you can! They say that laughter is the best medicine and I would 1000% agree!
