Happy Monday, friends and welcome back! Did you all have a good weekend? Did you do anything fun?! David and I are making it our mission to go through and watch all of the Oscar best-picture nominees, and this weekend we were able to cross off Bohemian Rhapsody and Roma! Both were enjoyable in different ways; however my vote still goes to A Star is Born…at least for now. Anyways, let’s get back to business. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, I thought it was time to hop on here and share some of my favorite Galentine’s Day date/gift ideas with you all. While I know this “holiday” is typically reserved for romantic couples, I think it’s fun to include your girls on the day of love; after all, they’re (usually) the ones that keep us from falling apart at the seams. If you’re interested in some fun ways to celebrate the lovely ladies in your life, keep on reading.

Galentine’s Day “Date” Ideas
1. Hit The Town: Sometimes you just need a (girls) night out on the town. This is the perfect time to grab your favorite ladies, throw on your best outfit and hit up the nicest (or most casual – whatever your vibe is) restaurant in town. You don’t need a boyfriend to treat you to a fancy outing, you can do it for yourself!
2. Girls Night In: If you and your ladies are more homebody (raises hand) kind of people, staying in with a bottle of wine, a nice face mask and a cozy robe is the way to go. Grab your favorite rom-coms (preferably ones with Matthew McConaughey), your wine of choice and a tasty snack, and a settle in for a night of swooning and girl talk. I mean honestly, is there anything better?
3. Spa Day: If you’re in need of a little R&R, a mani/pedi and massage appointment might be the best way to spend your Galentine’s Day. If you have a favorite salon, call them up and make an appointment for you and your girls; however, if you’re up for something new, try finding a fancier salon that you’ve never been to and enjoy the poshness that comes along with it; it doesn’t have to be an every week thing, but the occasional splurge is a nice change of pace!
4. Galentine’s Dinner: Much like Friendsgiving, Galentine’s Dinner is a nice way to get all of your girls together and celebrate one another over a home-cooked meal. I love the idea of throwing a party for you and your ladies where you take cheesy pictures and toast to the incredible friendships you have. Have everyone bring their favorite dish, pop the champagne (or coke in my case) and shower yourselves with love! You deserve it!

So that wraps up this Galentine’s Day post; I hope it was helpful and gave you some fun girls-night inspo! I know a lot of people view this “holiday” as cheesy and unnecessary; and though I agree with that to some extent, I also think it’s a fun way to shower the people you love with chocolate and appreciation! Do you do anything fun for Valentine’s Day? Do you and your significant other get dolled up and go out to dinner? Do you get your girlfriends together and have a girls night? Sound off below and let’s chat!
XOXO,
B
Love these ideas (especially the Gilmore girls shirt!). I also am a homebody. Bring me the wine and cheese in my pajamas please!
Girl YES! We are 1000% soul sisters! 💗💗
Stoppp these are just the cutest Galentine’s ideas!! I still need to watch Bohemian Rhapsody- I feel like so many people are torn on if that or A Star is Born is better. I loved A Star is Born too- wow, WHAT a powerful movie. The Lorelai & The Rory immediately jumped out to me- so fun!
You are the sweetest! I have a lot of thoughts on all of the Best Picture nominees and now that I have seen both A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody, there is no competition (IMO). I thoroughly enjoyed BR and would 1000% watch it again; Rami Malek was great, but it doesn’t come close to ASIB, at least for me (still worth seeing though). And yes! I love that Lorelei/Rory shirt, I think I’m definitely a Lorelei! <3
