Happy Friday, friends and welcome back; are you guys ready for the weekend? I know I am. I’m also ready for a cool-down, these 102+ temperatures are NOT FOR ME….is it just me?! Anyway, as you can see by the title, today we’re talking back to school style! For many of you, it’s that time of year again; moving into the dorms, research papers and those pesky 8 am classes! While I graduated from college a little over 6 years ago, my (then) classroom style has continued to stick with me. I thought now would be a great time to put together a little back to school look-book for all of you that are headed back to campus…or high school if you don’t have a strict dress code 🙂 I will say, my style is pretty casual; if you are someone that likes to dress a little more “fancy” (that’s probably not the right word), this may not be your favorite. As always, everything will be listed and linked down below, so without further ado, let’s jump right in!
*NOTE: Please be mindful of your school’s dress code policy. If your school or university does not allow certain pieces that I show below, substitute a different piece(s) to ensure that your outfit is 100% compliant.*

Rib-Knit Henley Tank • Black Sunnies • Apple Watch 3 • Power Straight Jeans
Circle Pendant Necklace • BareMinerals Tinted Gel Cream • Planner • Mixed Metal Ring
Rosebud Salve • Embellished Sandals • KS Bracelet • Water Bottle • Backpack Purse
If you’re looking for something a little more elevated than a pair of leggings and a t-shirt; a pair of ripped jeans and a henley tank will do the trick! I love pairing my power straight jeans from Old Navy with a fitted tank and a sparkly pair of sandals; I find it both functional and stylish! I always bring some sort of bag, in this instance I thought a cute backpack purse would be a nice option; after all, you’re going to class…a backpack purse makes ALL the sense 🙂 I also try to remember a water bottle and lip balm; there’s nothing worse than crusty lips and dehydration, am I right?! If you’re still feeling a little bare, adding some nice accessories can really help round things out!
Lashes Shirt • B.P. Sunnies • Supergoop Zinc Screen • Marble Water Bottle
BareMinerals Tinted Gel Cream • Zella Live-In Leggings • Planner • Olivia Burton Watch
Halo Studs • KS Drusy Bracelet • Adidas Swift Run • Daisy Rose Tote
If you know me in real life, this is my outfit 99.9999% of the time. I love a good pair of leggings with a t-shirt and sneakers. As I’ve mentioned before, the Zella Live-In Leggings are my favorite black leggings on the market; they’re opaque, suck you in and run TTS (M). The t-shirt is just a fun screen tee from Amazon, and if I’m being honest, is far better quality than the $11 price tag would suggest (I sized up for a looser fit). Typically when I wear leggings out and about, I try and pair them with some type of sneaker because I feel like it gives me a cleaner look. If you’ve been around a while, then you know how much I love the Adidas Swift Runs; I have them in 3 different color varieties and stand behind them 1000%. To round out the outfit, I think a big tote, planner and a few accessories take this outfit from lazy to chic.
Auburn Sweatshirt • Tortoise Sunnies • Apple Watch 3 Series • Colourpop Lippie Tint
Ring • Essie Gel Polish • Abercrombie Shorts • Water Bottle • Silk Hair Scarf
Chain Bracelet • Embellished Sandals • Earrings • North Face Backpack
This is probably my favorite outfit of them all; you guys know how much I love a comfy-spirited sweatshirt! Despite the temperatures still being brutal here in the South, I find most classrooms to be pretty chilly. Mixing a sweatshirt with a pair of shorts allows you to stay cool while not freezing to death…seems like a win-win to me! I also paired this look with my favorite North Face backpack (the Recon); I’ve had this bad boy since 2010 and it’s still going strong. It easily fits all of your essentials plus a 15.5″ laptop; so if you’re in the market, I highly recommend! Much like the first two looks shown above, adding a few basic accessories helps tie everything together and makes it appear like you’ve spent way more time getting ready than you actually did (hallelujah)!

XOXO,
I am having such mixed feelings about back to school! Lol. I do NOT want the summer to end! That said these are such great looks! And girl I LOVE that you threw in an Auburn sweatshirt and how passionate you are about your school! I hope you have a great weekend! <3
Hahaha. I think I’m very much in the minority because I’m ready for these scorching temperatures to get lost. These are definitely my go-to, everyday sort of looks! And you know I HAD to throw in an Auburn sweatshirt…it wouldn’t be a Brittney lookbook if I didn’t. lol. Have a good weekend pretty girl! <3 <3
